Days 11-20

WELCOME TO THE 40 DAY CHALLENGE: LOCK IN

DAY 20 - PROGRESSING

Jesus was tempted for 40 days and 40 nights (Matthew 4:2).

There were 40 days between Jesus’ resurrection and ascension (Acts 1:3).

There were 40 days between you and your goal.

Now there are only 20.

How are you progressing?

I love hearing from you.

Some of you have paired these readings with some big goals!

Consistency is key.

Stay locked in.

DAY 19 - ADAPTABLE

Who are you when things don’t go your way?

What changes in your mood?

Your behavior?

Your body?

Life can be royally inconvenient at times.

How do you respond?

Lock-in

DAY 18 - CONSTRUCTIVE

A lot of addictions come from having nothing better to do.

It’s important to manage your boredom well.

Find something better to do, or create healthy addictions.

What are you addicted to?

Can you break what binds you?

Lock in.

DAY 17 - SERVING

Stop thinking about yourself all the time.

Someone you know needs your help.

How can you be of Service?

Lock in.

DAY 16 - ALIVE

Set a timer for one minute.

For one minute, write as many things you love about being alive.

Don’t stop until the timer stops.

Love life.

Lock in.

Day 15 - BETTER

We can always do better.

Pick one person that you’d like to have a better relationship with.

Connect with them today in a meaningful way.

Show up BETTER for the people you care about.

Lock in.

Day 14 - PLAN

List 5 things you’ve never done before that you’d like to try.

Pick one that’s do-able now.

Make a plan.

Take the first step today.

Lock in.

Day 13 - Listen.

Listen with your eyes and ears.

Today, look everyone in the eyes and see them when they are speaking to you.

Resist the urge to look at your phone and look at the people in your life.

What happens when people feel seen and heard by you?

Lock in.

DAY 12:  ALIGN

Place your back against a wall.

Have your heels, butt, and shoulders, touch the wall.

Take a breath.

Notice where your head is.

Does it naturally touch the wall, too, or is it floating out in front of you?

If it’s floating out in front of you, your posture could use some attention.

Straighten up.

Lock in.

Day 11 - CLEAN

Wash your sheets and pillowcases.

Change your toothbrush.

Clean your coffee maker.

And your bathroom.

Vacuum.

It’s time.

Your space reflects your mind.

What do you need to clean up?

Lock in.
