I have been shocked to learn how toxic our clothes can be.
Some “eco-friendly” fabrics are even made with recycled materials, like plastics, that break down after wear and use into micro-plastics and other forever-chemicals. These hormone and health disrupters have been linked to numerous illnesses and dysfunctions.
I’ve been exploring “clean” clothing brands that better support my lifestyle goals, health, and well-being, and I’d love to know if you’ve tried any of these brands.

Our founder and designer Shawna set out to find a pair of underwear made from natural fibers that she would actually want to wear while exercising.
But as she searched, Shawna realized that her perfect pair might not exist.
The only options she could find were bad-for-the-planet polyester-cotton options that would get soggy in no time flat, or styles that just weren’t cut in a way that allowed a woman’s body to move.
